Magninnkaup ehf., co. reg. no. [registration number], [address], Iceland, operating internationally under the ORDER2GETHER brand ("ORDER2GETHER", "we", "us"), runs the website and is the seller of the products offered on it to consumers.
ORDER2GETHER offers pre-sale of larger consumer goods through group buying: a product is advertised with a specific minimum number of participants and a deadline. Once the minimum is reached, the order is sent to the manufacturer, the product is shipped to Iceland and delivered to participants. Price, minimum quantity, deadline and estimated delivery time are shown on each group buy's page.
A binding purchase agreement for a specific product is formed between you and ORDER2GETHER once you have confirmed participation in a group buy, provided the minimum number of participants is reached within the stated deadline, see section 5. All prices are shown in Icelandic króna and include 24% VAT unless stated otherwise.
When you sign up for a product in a group buy, the payment is charged from your card to the card company. The card company does not pay out to ORDER2GETHER until the product has been delivered to you. If the minimum number of participants isn't reached, or the product doesn't arrive within the stated deadline, you get the payment back from the card company.
Payment processing is carried out by a certified external payment provider. ORDER2GETHER does not store card information on its own systems.
If the required minimum number of participants is not reached within the advertised deadline, the relevant group buy is automatically cancelled. Since ORDER2GETHER is not paid out until the product has been delivered, see section 4, you are refunded in full through your card company without needing to take any special action.
The estimated delivery time is shown on each group buy's page and is counted in days from when the group buy is triggered. As soon as the container/shipment arrives in Iceland, participants are notified of the exact delivery location and time by email and/or SMS. Participants can choose to pick up the product free of charge at a specified location or have it delivered home for a fee stated at checkout.
Free pickup/delivery window is available for two days from notification of the product's arrival. If the product is not collected within that time, it goes into storage and a storage fee may apply, which is clearly stated at checkout and never charged without prior consent.
As a consumer you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase without giving a reason, counted from receipt of the product, in accordance with the Icelandic Act No. 16/2016 on consumer contracts for distance sales and sales away from business premises. To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us at info@magninnkaup.is. The product should be returned in its original condition, allowing for reasonable inspection.
Statutory warranty rights apply in accordance with Icelandic consumer sales law. Before a product is listed for sale, ORDER2GETHER has, among other things, vetted the manufacturer, obtained and tested a sample, reviewed necessary certifications, and negotiated warranty and spare-parts terms directly with the manufacturer. ORDER2GETHER operates a referral programme for partner brokers and for customers who have completed a purchase. Use of a referral code gives the relevant buyer a stated discount and creates a right to commission or an additional discount for whoever issued the code, under the terms shown at sign-up for the relevant programme. ORDER2GETHER reserves the right to change or close such programmes with reasonable notice.
ORDER2GETHER is not liable for delays arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control, including delays in international shipping, customs clearance, or at the manufacturer. In the event of a material and foreseeable delay, we will notify participants as soon as possible.
Icelandic law governs transactions under these terms. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly with ORDER2GETHER, a consumer may refer a complaint to the Icelandic Consumers' Association or the Complaints Committee for Consumer Sales.
